In a new Steam update from Rockstar (via Synth Potato on X ), it **appears the Red Dead Redemption 2 game description and details have been officially updated for the first time since 2019, ** sparking speculation that a remastered version is coming soon to PC and conso

The multiplayer component to Red Dead Redemption 2 is taking a lot of heat for several reasons. Perhaps justifiably, people are gawking at the inclusion of microtransactions. Less rationally, players are decrying the rest of the multiplayer suite, from the competitive modes to the stranger missi

The list of complaints is extensive but focus on main areas including the new emotes, daily challenges, and hunting. Some of the new daily challenges involve a weapon that hasn't even been released in Red Dead Online yet, microtransactions include a poor set of clothing options that cost gold bars, and emotes can cost up to $100 to buy. Elsewhere, new headshot bounties actually turn players into griefers more than before as actual griefers can simply ride off-radar to escape. Finally, animal carcasses have been nerfed to the extreme and badly damaged the money of those who basically relied on hunting for inc

Shooting has never been the developer's strong suit, save for Max Payne 3's immaculate gun play, and Red Dead Redemption 2 did not do a lot to improve upon it. The first game has its faults too, like the extended stay in Mexico that added little to John Marston's story. All this being said, they are still two of the best games on the mar

Unlike previous GOW titles, God of War (2018) is more open, allowing players to freely explore Midgard, Alfheim, Nilfheim, Muspelheim, and Hel both by foot and by boat as they complete the main quest to take part in side missions, collect treasure, or complete tri

While Red Dead Redemption 2 Treasure maps|https://reddeadstation.com/ Dead Redemption 2 was a highlight of 2018's impressive video game legacy, Red Dead Online seems to have fallen under its own weight. The first big update promised to fix some of the many gripes gamers were experiencing, but instead, developers have simply added more problems. Just three months after the highly anticipated online version launched, it seems like it's pistols at dawn between players and Rockstar Ga

I will immediately state that I'm not pointing a finger at Rockstar saying they copied another game. In this industry, like any art, learning from others goes a long way. Rockstar has always been able to craft exceptional games -- just look at the most recent years of success with GTAV Online or any of the GTAs. What has Rockstar learned? From the looks of it, that it’s possible to create epic playscapes representative of our real world that will be fun to play in without fantasy or sci-fi. It has gotten a bit tedious that every game that’s willing to put out these massive sandboxes restricts it to stories of fiction, except Rockstar of course. Covering a bit more ground, the upcoming Assassin’s Creed is also helping fill this much-needed role for games.

This most recent update from Rockstar suggests that the remaster could absolutely be coming sooner than players expected, possibly even in the coming weeks. However, despite the exciting update, it's important to note that there is still no official confirmation of a **Red Dead Redemption 2 ** remaster being released, though players should definitely be on the lookout for another update from Rocks

People who love the series tend to proclaim it from up high, and it's good when people feel so passionately about something. However, even the most diehard fans have to admit the games are not perfect. They come pretty close at times, but come up just shy of flawlessn

For example, in one playthrough, a player could specialize in taking down monsters solo with hammers, while another playthrough could have the player specialize in using bows to support their four-man team of Monster Hunt

Now that the second trailer for Red Dead Redemption II has been burned into everyone’s eyes, taking a step back after the dust settles can help to see the bigger picture. The most prominent thing being the centerpiece of who the main anti-hero is, along with other outlaws from the Van der Linde gang. Even with the trailer showcasing other features such as what looked to be gameplay (not much) and cutscenes, one game popped into mind watching as the visuals went from sweeping vistas to bogged down swamps filled with predators. As each environment kept hitting and having watched the trailer numerous times now, RDRII seems to be mimicking another exceptional game — The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

RedDeadDev3, RedDeadDev4, RedDeadDev5, RedDeadDev6, RedDeadDev7, RedDeadDev8, RedDeadDev9, RedDeadDev10, RedDeadDev11, RedDeadDev12, RedDeadDev13, RedDeadDev14, RedDeadDev15, RedDeadDev16, RedDeadDev17, RedDeadD

This is where it will be interesting to see if Rockstar has learned from games like The Witcher. RDRII could showcase mature tales that not only make for interesting stories but also allow the player to forget they are doing a side-quest, instead getting lost in the game's world. This doesn’t look to be a problem though, with heavy emphasis on the wide range of a cast seen throughout the trailer even if just the tip of the iceberg. Like GTAV, RDRII is giving its audience a living breathing world, that famous — when this is off the world keeps going — mentality.
