He also lacks a key thing many currently popular junglers have: smite/ability steal capabilities. With the increasing importance Riot places on Dragon and Rift Herald, a jungler with no real way to cause or prevent enemy team objective theft has no place on the R
The latest additional game mode is the highly requested Nexus Blitz, which is kind of a mix of both ARAM and Summoner's Rift. This isn't the first time this MOBA game tips mode has appeared, but its back with a new map and some other fun changes. Unfortunately, the game mode isn't here to stay and is only in beta mode. It seems Riot Games wants to reserve Nexus Blitz for occasional events and is currently looking for player feedback on the fledgling mode. Currently, Nexus Blitz still has the same base objective as both ARAM and Summoner's Rift, but every few minutes there is a mini-game event that both teams participate in. The team that wins the event gets a random bonus of some sort to benefit their team. So if you need a game mode to relax with after some intense ranked matches, stay tuned and this guide will show you how to play Nexus Bl
His Q - Sonic Wave/Resonating Strike allows him to close the gap between him and enemies, as it can become both a projectile and a dash spell. Moreover, W - Safeguard/Iron Will enables him to get great sustain while jungling. E - Tempest/Cripple gives Lee Sin decent crowd control, which is perfect for defense. Meanwhile, Ult - Dragon's Rage grants Lee Sin a great knockback ability — perfect to send enemies to his teamma
Still a part of CLG in 2020, Stixxay and his teammates finished dead last in the Spring Split, four games behind ninth-place Team Liquid. However, the team has gotten off to a 3-1 start in summer, already matching their win total from spr
Kanavi may be the best jungler the LPL has ever sent to the World Championship. The Korean import fully embodies the patented LPL aggression with his champion pool (Lee Sin, Nidalee, Graves) and mechanics. He consistently finds advantages against enemy junglers through optimal pathing, counter-jungling, and ganking. He seems to know exactly when to start fights and how to set up his team for success. He spent the year outplaying some of the best junglers in the world, like Tian and Karsa, and he looks to do the same at Wor
In his first split as a part of Gen.G, BDD was one of the best performing mid laners in the LCK, with a 6.2 KDA (kill/death/assist) ratio, which was good for second in the LCK Summer Split, behind only DAMWON’s Heo "ShowMaker" Su. Although many consider bot laner Park "Ruler" Jae-hyuk to be the main carry of the team, BDD brings a ton of talent and leadership to the team, making them one of the favorites from Korea to win the entire ev
DAMWON dominated the LCK in summer and come into Worlds as the team with the highest potential to reclaim the World Championship crown for South Korea, and Showmaker is at the root. He comes into the tournament with a KDA of 16. For context, T1’s Teddy had the second-highest KDA at 7.8. DAMWON's success stems from Showmaker’s ability to completely take over a game. The LCK MVP looks to show the World why Damwon is so domin
Bardle Royale is of course a pun on the extremely popular Battle Royale genre. In Nexus Blitz there are 3 different variations of Bardle Royale. The first variation is classic where a ring of fire encloses on an area of the map, the two teams must battle it out until only one team is left standing. The second variation is Paranoia, where both teams must still fight in the enclosing circle, but all players are nearsighted for the duration of the event. The last variation is Juggernaut. One random Champion on each team is selected to have extra health and be On Fire! for the duration of the event. These two players receive bonuses to attack speed, adaptive power, and mana regeneration but are more vulnerable to damage. In all three variations, teamwork is key, but in Juggernaut especially you will have to focus the enemy juggernaut as a team before you can pick off the r
However, Janna shines with Ult - Monsoon. When she uses this, the skill knocks back all enemies around her. Moreover, Janna grants healing to Champions around her as long as she stands still. This skill does leave Janna vulnerable, but this also teaches newbies how the right position can change the tide of bat
Janna serves as a great Support introduction to players. For instance, Q - Howling Gale knocks up enemies in its general direction, while W - Zephyr can slow a target. Meanwhile, E - Eye of the Storm gives Janna a shield that absorbs damage and increases attack damage of teammates in Janna's proximity. These skills alone make Janna great for the defensive, as well as supp
League of Legends remains one of the most popular free-to-play games on the market today. But it also stands out as a robust esports competitor along with games like Overwatch and CS: GO . That means that, though the average player base may represent a greater population, developer Riot Games also makes game changes based on feedback from pro-players, sponsors, and commentators. Champion reworks are also a natural element of game maintenance. Since the game's launch in 2009, many champions have seen reworks while other champions ( like Dr. Mundo and Shyvana) merely have rumored reworks in the wings. Past reworks, however, have not always sat well with f
