At the beginning of November, EA revealed that Battlefield 6 would offer an unprecedented scale of warfare , which became possible thanks to the now-current generation of powerful consoles. The company’s CEO Andrew Wilson shared the exciting news that the game is receiving highly positive feedback during the current phase of internal testing. Battlefield 6 is heavily rumored to return to the modern era while the aforementioned scale will reportedly result in supporting up to 128 players in a single multiplayer ma

Battlefield 6 _ will have the largest scope of any game in the long-running series, and it's set to be released in the 2021 holiday season. Publisher EA previously revealed that the next title in the _Battlefield series would be released next year after it announced that Battlefield 5 and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 , both of which are developed by DICE, would be receiving their final content updates this y

For players still playing Battlefield 5 , the game recently saw the addition of new skins as October ended. While the wait for more Battlefield 6 details may seem never-ending, dressing up in Battlefield 5 ’s Halloween skins should make it a tiny bit more bearable – even if only for a little wh

There's a few options for which setting Battlefield could go next, but the most likely setting is a modern day conflict. A few leaks and rumors on the internet have come out regarding Battlefield 6 , all of which seem to agree the shooter is returning to a contemporary time period. For a series that's done both historical time periods as well as modern war settings, there's definitely positive and negative points for a modern setting if true. Battlefield needs a fresh start, and even though the series started with WWII, a modern setting may be the perfect rest

fallen-chess-pieces.jpg?width=746&formatThe current game in the series, Battlefield 5 , was marred with issues from the day it was released. The game not only felt incomplete, with its miniscule map roster and plethora of bugs, but future updates were incredibly inconsistent and many promised features never saw the light of day, such as the 5v5 competitive mode . Even its attempt at a battle royale mode, called Firestorm in Battlefield 5 , wasn’t safe from its own set of issues. Battlefield 5’s life cycle was so turbulent that its final content patch was released last summer , more than a year before the next game in the series is expected to rele

With the latest Call of Duty taking a Battlefield -like approach to certain modes, with vehicles and larger scale play via Combined Arms, it will be interesting to see if the Battlefield series changes further or sticks to its guns. While fans can expect large-scale gameplay and some level of destruction, as those are core elements of Battlefield ’s DNA, little else is known about the next game in the series. With opportunities for a futuristic setting in Battlefield 2143 , a follow-up to Bad Company 2 , or a return to modern day Battlefield action, anything is possible for DICE’s current Battlefield proj

That’s where Twitter user and frequent source of gaming leaks Tom Henderson comes in. This morning, Henderson offered tidbits of what DICE has in store for Battlefield 6 and the scale of its gameplay. Starting off, he claimed that while the core multiplayer is being designed around the classic 32-vs-32 player setup, the game will be able to support a lot more than that, with maps that "have been designed with 128+ players in mi

Henderson wouldn’t say if this means DICE will be bringing 64-vs-64 modes to Battlefield 2042 news|https://battlefield2042hq.com/ 6 as well, but did suggest that EA and DICE are considering putting that increased player count to use in some sort of battle royale, citing "increased interest" from the two due to the success of Call of Duty: Warzo

For the better part of the last decade, the Battlefield series was the popular place to go for large-scale online multiplayer in the FPS space, offering players the opportunity to shoot it out on large maps in 64-player matches. That number’s almost quaint nowadays in the age of battle royale shooters that can support up to 200 players per match , but if the latest from the rumor mill is to be believed, it’s going to be bumped up considerably for the upcoming Battlefield

Quite recently, Russian industry insider Anton Logvinov shared a brief statement on Twitter claiming that Battlefield 6 is not what fans want, although it plays well. Judging by his subsequent commentaries, the insider hasn’t played the game himself while the information was probably coming from third parties participating in closed testing. Shortly after that, another industry insider, Tom Henderson, claimed the contrary stating that Battlefield 6 will actually be what fans of the series want . Interestingly, the source of Henderson’s confidence is pretty much the same as Logvinov’s concerns. According to those participating in internal testing, the game is receiving significantly more positive feedback than the previous titles. This reception makes Henderson believe that DICE is handling Battlefield 6 in a way that should satisfy f
